Both my Macs are running Ventura and are connected to a wired LAN. For troubleshooting reasons, I want the Mac mini to stop trying to connect to the MBP, but I can't find any way to do this. I've asked elsewhere about any way of factory-resetting the mini's networking, but the advice given there didn't help; every time I log into the mini, it pops up a dialogue box warning that it's trying unsuccessfully to connect to the MBP (which is always in sleep mode when I'm using the mini).

I can't find any way on the mini to stop it trying to connect to the MBP at login. Any suggestions?

Open Finder window. Select menu Go > Connect to server... In the dialog which appears, remove any entries from Favorite Servers.

Otherwise, you've configured some software which runs on login to access your MBP.

There are no entries in Favourite Servers. I've no idea about any software that runs on login. I've now turned off all sharing options, and I still get this when I log in:
