How do I stop Previewing from opening up so many files?

I just upgraded to Lion, and now whenever I open Preview, it opens like every single picture I ever opened...how do I stop making it do that?

Uncheck this in System Preferences:

Alternatively, you can manually close all windows before quitting out of Preview or hold the option key when quitting. The latter will discard all windows before quitting. You can also hold shift when launching an application and that will prevent the restoring of previously opened windows.
