How do I stop suggested group contacts when trying to send a text?

Since iOS11 whenever I try and text someone it shows group contacts that I don't want.
How do I stop suggested group contacts when trying to send a text?

How do I stop suggested group contacts when trying to send a text?

It appears the only way (to my knowledge) is to hit the "i" icon next to each group that populates, go in, and delete them. That way, you'll only see individual contacts in the future.
