Its really weird, the bar thats normally at the bottom keeps appearing in the middle, and I can scroll up and down and it still stays there, it only disappears when I hit home?

Never seen it before. Is it jailbroken if so it could be causing an issue. Recent JB caused my multi-tasking bar to completely disappear. On a side note, consider charging it

I havethe same thing happen on my iPhone. I haven't seen it in my inbox, mine has been in the messaging app. I guess it's a bug in 4.2 that affects certain users. Send that to apple.

Okay try this: close the app and then close from multi-tasking bar. Restart iPhone. If this doesn't fix - run a restore under iTunes. If that doesn't fix, see a Apple Genius.
