How Do I store My photos onto Hardrive?

My computer's memory is complety full. Im trying to select al these photos (10,000) and drag them to my hardrive....no luck! ans then as a test I try to drag just one...no luck! Any advice out there? Id really appreciate the help!

Remove some stuff from your hard drive or go get one that will fit your needs.

Thanks, I'm gonna need to. the problem is....its hard to remove stuff from my hardrive one by one...there is no dragging and dropping into an external, nad its hard sifting thru files one by one and sending to trash.....i think im a file hoarder lol!!
