MP 1,1-5,1 How do I supersample from 5K resolution to 4K resolution on my Mac Pro 5,1?

I’m trying to get that 1440p-like UI size, but I have a 4K display. At native res, the UI is too small and at 1080p (HiDPI) res, the interface is too large.

I heard there’s an in between, where I can set the Mac to output at 5K res and then downscale to fit the 4K screen via supersampling.

I’ve ordered a Radeon RX 560, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Is there anything I’m going to have to do once I get the card or will I be able to set the resolution easily to 5K?
