Hi,

I have a Macbook using iTunes 11.3 and an iPad.

Because my Macbook has a SSD I have to consider storage issues. I want to have my iTunes purchased TV Programmes stored on my iPad but don't want them stored on my Macbook. I download the video direct from the store straight onto my iPad.

If I tell iTunes to synch my TV Programmes it copies them from my iPad back onto my Macbook. If I tell iTunes not to synch my programmes then it erases them from my iPad.

How do I do this, am I missing something obvious here?

Thanks.

Set iTunes to manually manage music and videos.

Thanks for your reply.

The only option I see is 'Manually manage music and videos', is this what you are thinking of?

I want iTunes to automatically manage my music so I don't think this option is good for me.

Unfortunately, there's no option to just sync music while not syncing videos. :(
