When I was setting up my new Macbook with my home network I logged on to my NAS as adminstrator.
Now that everything is setup, I want to log on to the NAS a regular shared user but every time I mount the NAS drive it connects with the admin account and I have to manually disconnect and reconnect as a user.
How do I get the Macbook to forget the admin logon or at least change it to not be the default?
Thanks

Open up Keychain in the Utilities folder. You should see your NAS listed in there. If you delete that keychain entry you can reconnect to the NAS and it will ask for credentials again.
