How do i transfer my EDITED iPhone pictures to Mac?

I'm trying to transfer a picture i took and edited from my iPhone 6 to my MBP. I used Image Capture and iPhoto to transfer the picture but i am only seeing the unedited version, i want the edited version though. Thanks.

I ran into the same thing and ended up sending it through a iMessage to my Mac. Guess you could send a email. I'm confused why my edited pictured on iPhone transfers to Mac in original...
