As an Apple enthusiast I upgraded from OS 10.10.2 to OS 10.10.3 last night.

I noticed that as part of the upgrade Apple migrated my photo library from iPhoto to Photo...I was fine with this until I discovered that the photo stream did NOT get migrated so now I am in the situation where:

1. The photo stream in Photo is empty; and

2. The photo stream on my iPhone is unchanged (from before the OS upgrade) and therefore not synced to the Photo app's photo stream.

I then decided to upgrade to iOS 8.3 in the hope that this would solve the problem but no luck, the problem continues to exist.

I then tried to get the photo streams to sync by i) deleting the photo stream in my iPhone (this worked) and ii) dragging and dropping the photos in the Photo app onto the Photo app's photo stream (this did not work, seems this is one of Apple little takeaways relative to iPhoto).

I would appreciate someone explaining to me how to get the photos in the Photo app into the Photo app's photo stream so I can get my photo streams in sync.

With much thanks in advance
