Yes, I feel like an idiot for not being able to figure this out...I mean, hey, it’s not like I’ve been using Macs for 25 years or anything (which I have).....

How, exactly, does one move video shot on an iPod Touch 4gen over to their MBP? Tried the email thing (no go, it doesn’t ever arrive in any inbox tested)...tried uploading it to MobileMe (but there’s no way to download it to my MBP from there either, apparently)....it doesn’t appear anywhere I can see in iTunes....

...but the video (several of them, actually) remains right there on my iPod Touch.

Help please...? Thanks!

OR, you can send it to yourself by mail.
If I remember correctly the iPod gives you the option to directly publish and send it by email once your done filming.
There IS a length limit to the video though, it can't be too long.
Plus when you send it by email it automatically gets compressed. ;)

If iPhoto doesn't open automatically then open iPhoto while your Touch is plugged into your MBP.

iPhoto will then let you pick which photos/videos you want to import to your MBP.

No need to have iTunes open.
Emailing them will make them lose quality significantly.

Importing through iPhoto will give you full 720p quality.

Once videos are in iPhoto you can drag them to your desktop and delete them from iPhoto if you like.

There's also Image Capture which I've done and seems to be the easiest without having to open iPhoto.

He already said he couldn't do that in the post.

I heard some software just like iPod transfer can output the media from iPod, but haven't heard there is mac version. Maybe you can search it with internet.
