How do I turn bookmark syncing off?

I have signed up for mobile me and transferred all my bookmarks from my macbook to my iphone. However when I add new bookmarks on the iphone I don't want them adding to my macbook safari. How do I stop this?

Might be able to accomplish this by unchecking sync bookmarks in MM Preferences on the Mac, if you turn off syncing on the iPhone it actually deletes all your bookmarks.
