Whenever I get in my car, my watch shows a maps notification telling me how long it will take to get to a particular destination. However this happens all the time--even if I don't have navigation on, or don't have any appointment in my calendar. My watch is always trying to predict where I am going (usually with a high degree of stupidity). I would like to turn this off, but can't figure out how to do it.

It’s the same when using maps via CarPlay, watch keeps vibrating and giving you directions.
You’d think it would be smart enough to figure it out.

On your iPhone, Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Significant Locations > Clear History / Toggle off.

I'm curious does you Watch connect to your cars bluetooth. My phone will often show me a predicted location, surprisingly accurately for me, but never my Watch.

While the data is interesting to see, if the location is "significant" (previously "frequent" in iOS) why would it think I needed directions there?

My watch does give me predicted locations while connected to my car via bluetooth. That is the annoying behavior I want to end. It doesn't give me directions to the location automatically, but it does predict how long it will take me to get there given current traffic conditions.
