I have two iphones, a 7+, and an SE. The SE makes a neat clicking sound whenever letters are entered in a search, and the 7+ doesn't. I went into settings/sound and haptics, and "keyboard clicks" is activated. I tried deactivating and then activating again, but there's still no clicks on entering characters in searches or what have you. Any guess what's wrong?

Hmmm... I didn't even know I had a mute switch :- ) but it worked! I just flipped it and instant clicks. But now I'm wondering what it mutes (besides the quiet character clicks) because I've always been able to hear the alarm clock, music, videos, etc.

The mute switch silences phone call rings, iMessage dings and certain notifications (but not the clock app alarm
