How do I uninstall extra photo effects I downloaded for my iMac?

Hi all! So a few years ago I downloaded some extra Photo booth/iChat effects. Now I really want to delete them because they are making my photo booth slow and I never use them anyway. I looked online and it said to delete them from the "Compositions" folder, but when I looked there, it was empty! Now I don't know what to do, and I feel like I've tried everything. Thank you!
