how do i uninstall windows in this case?

I need help……

I just installed windows on my mac but when I went to click on setup after i installed my mac os x disc it is saying 'this package requires a newer version of the windows installer.Do you want to update the version of the windows installer on your system?' when i click yes it says 'required resource 'update' is missing'? I don’t know what to do as it appears the version i have installed windows xp home edition (2002) version is to old. how do I remove windows now?
i would really appreciate help please

To remove a Boot Camp partition:

Launch the Boot Camp Assistant
Click Continue
Click Continue (Remove is selected)
Click Restore
