how do I unsync mail

I have a mac pro (2010) running El Capitan and use MS Outlook for email. My husband uses MacBook Pro and Outlook for email as an alias of my gmail account. I have created an icloud email address but don't want all those messages to go to the macbook pro. How do i unsync it?
