Of course, I can uncheck the box automatically one by one (if I don't forget it; of course, I always forget it), so where is the option on this forum engine (which forum engine is this, by the way?) to uncheck watched threads?

We use XenForo here.

If you go to your watched threads and click "Manage Watched Threads" at the top right of the list, you should see an option to "Stop watching threads." This will apply to threads you're already watching.

To turn off watching threads completely, head to your account preferences, and in the Options section you'll see checkboxes to turn off just email notifications or the entire watched threads feature.
