How do I update to 5.01 on iPhone 4 usin 4.1?

I have 4.1 firmware JB and now want to JB to 5.01 teetered. I should update the official firmware in iTunes to 5.01 first then jb or is there something else I need to do first?

2. Which is better using Sn0wbreeze 2.8b11 or using RedSn0w to JB to 5.01?

Ideas or suggestions?

Ditto. I've used them both and prefer redsn0w since it does not require a complete restore.

If you don't need to preserve 02.10 baseband, then just restore/update with Itunes go 5.0.1 and then jailbreak it with redsn0w.

02.10 baseband is valuable for those who want to unlock the phone with Gevey sim.

Is it difficult to JB? As I have 4.1 do I just update straight 5.01 first... then follow iClarified... RedSnow 0.9.9b9d?

I honestly think you should spend some time and read and learn before heartbreaking. Start with the stickies up top. Reading and learning 1st Will save you headache's in the future.
