From that, the only possibly useful upgrade would be to upgrade up to OS X 10.4 Tiger or 10.5 Leopard.

i'm not sure which version powerbook that is, but i've got a 1.33ghz powerbook g4, also 17" that i've just purchased a 320GB hdd, and maxed the ram to 2GB. it's great.

it's the 1st version PB 17" with the 1GHz CPU.. just like itou did.. RAM and HD is about the only thing you could upgrade in it.
