I have a jailbroken Verizon iPhone 4S on 5.0.1 and I'm currently getting this error when I try to upgrade or restore via iTunes:

The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unkown error occurred (11).

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hmm. Gave me error 3194 this time instead :/

Are you trying to restore to the latest version? (7.0.4). If you're trying to restore to any version other than 7.0.4, it's not possible on the 4S

Type in gs.apple.com in your address bar and if it leads you to cydia, then you need to fix your hosts file so that it points to apple

Ahh, that was the problem. I was restoring to 7.0, not 7.0.4

All good now. Thank you!!
