I wanna upgrade to 4.2.1 but I'm jailbroken. I don't mine losing the jail break. But anyway. Do I just restore than update? And can I jailbreak after I update or no?

All you'll need to do is click update when 4.2 is live and it'll do the rest. You will lose the jailbreak but a new one is expected soon (maybe today, more likely this week). A redsn0w jailbreak already works, Cydia just needs to be updated (should be ready) for it to be useful.

Shouldn't the OP be able to use limera1n or greenpois0n to jailbreak his device right now if he wanted to? It may not be untethered, but the jailbreak should still work.

Cydia doesn't work, unless he knows how to install app using SSH, then it is worthless

No point in doing it unless it's untethered.

What's the deal with the SHSH blobs? Do we need to be telling folks to click the "make my life easy" button in Cydia before they update to 4.2?
