Someone please help!

My ipod video was stolen, so I bought a 20gb 2nd generation ipod on ebay and it has an existing library on it. I can't click and drag my library onto the ipod when i connect it, and I have no idea what to do.

If you don't want any of the songs on there, just do a restore from the iPod summary screen in iTunes. Then you'll have an iPod fresh from the factory - at least on the inside.

is your library too large? Maybe you have to update the ipod. It also could be formatted to Windows. When they are they act weird when plugged in to a mac. Reformat, check availible space, and check the updated version. If that's not it, come back and tell us what it is doing.

There's only about 2gb used up on the ipod, and my library is about 10bg, but I have videos in my library. I don't know how to restore the ipod (see 2nd post). I also don't know how to reformat?

Macs can run windows formatted ipods like mac ones.

Plug the iPod in.

Click on the iPod in the iTunes source list.

Click "Restore."

It'll be in the same place for your iPod.

I have 6.2 I believe

Well, there's part of the problem.

Update to iTunes 7.0.1, just run a Software Update, it'll be there along with a bunch of Quicktime updates too I would think.
