How do i use Drop2dv

Right just bought myself a new imac, I do a media production course at uni so use final cut mostly for TV, film editing and adobe audition for radio stuff. Buttt, I dont have final cut on my mac atm soo i'm using imovie to edit some home vids.

There VOB's so i downloaded the drop2v app to convert them. I have opened it up in PAL tried dragging the DVD icon to the drop one the terminal opens but nothing seems to happen.

Quick run down on how to operate it would be amazing please.

You might also try MPEGStreamClip for the conversion. Not sure it can handle VOB, but I know i use it to convert proprietary file formats from my video camera to .dv all the time.
