How do I view all notifications?

I am not sure how / if I am seeing all notifications on my iPad 2, running 4.3.3.

I'll get notified of a bunch of notifications, from email, calendar, apps, etc. When I click through each one, sometimes I'll click on "View". As soon as I view one, it seems there should be more notifications but no more notifications show up.

How can I make sure I have viewed all notifications? Is there a way to view prior notifications that I closed?

There are some Cydia apps for this, which will list your notifications. Try LockInfo or MobileNotifier.

Or if you're not jailbroken and can hang on, you'll be able to do this in iOS 5...
