Hi!

How do I wipe my iPad 2 totally? I'm preparing the device to be sold.

When I select reset to factory settings, will iOS 7 not ask for MY iTunes password? Thus enabling Activation Lock?

You can wipe your device so that all content is erased and settings are returned to factory. Once you do, the new owner will have the opportunity to activate the device as a new device or restore from THEIR back up. All of your information no longer exists once you erase.

Do I just select Reset all settings and when it's turned off, i'm turning it on again?

I do not want to activate Activation Lock.

Go into Settings/General, scroll down to Reset. Next choose ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS.

This will erase everything on your iPad.
