make a line direct to a web site, even a web address on a e-mail. I know it happens sometimes and hi-lites itself, so that when you click on the line it opens the web page, but I just seem to fluke it. TIA (geez I hope that made sense......

ummm on yahoo mail, firefox 8.0.1
does that make a diff?

I've found it! thanks for your trouble.

In Mac Mail, all you need to do is type the address (www.xxxxx.com) and when you send it the address will become a link for the person who receives the email.

I hope that's what you're talking about.:D
