How do people change the battery color on the status bar

I figured out where to put the battery images for the status bar NOT the lockscreen images

Thing is that i am trying to change the color of the images on Photoshop but i cant get around the images that have the "Charging" and "Charged" symbols on the image [attached]

Any help from the experts??
