Two ways,
1. Drag the application/file/folder/whatever in the trash. Thats it.
2.If you really want it gone type the name of said file in spotlight or the finder seach bar select all and delete. (carefull with this one) all will be gone.

Wow, that Add/Remove utility actually worked for you?

Anyway, 98% of the time, just drag the app/program from the applications folder and drop it in the trash and empty the trash to completely delete.

In the other 2% of occasions you might have a pro app that leaves files and folders all over the place that you want rid off. You can use 'AppZapper' to get rid of these files, it isn't the most user friendly piece of software out on the Mac but it will do.

there are a few apps that specialise in this. AppZapper is a pretty cool little number. finds any Application Support and Cache files/folders, as well as preference files, and deletes them all with one click.

thx alot :D

so all i have to do is put it in trash? great , and it'z uninstalled wow!! :D

but just for caution :if i take something like an i tunes icon and by mistake put it in trash ( u know what u click to open i tunes), den it won't uninstall right, i just deleted a shortcut in that case right??

If you mean an icon in the Dock, then yes. It's just a short cut which you can replace by dragging the app from Finder back to the Dock.
