And how do you start a route?? I've searched high and low in the app and on the internet and still can't find an answer on how to work these basic functions!!

Arghh!!! Why do they make every piece of software more and more difficult to use?? The old Google maps worked perfectly!!!

I searched for my locations, brought up the route and now I am stuck looking at this screen with my thumb up my ass. Nowhere on the screen is there any indication of how to start the route or bookmark the locations.

And why doesn't it keep your directions up when you exit the app?? It totally wipes them out!! What if you have to take a call, Google something or read a text?? You have to go through the hassle of re-routing it??

Bro, I get it. You like everything in its neat little place. There is significantly more traffic on this forum.

And there are sub forums for a reason.

To answer your question, Google sucks, but to use this, tap the pin on where you want to go, click where or shows the driving time, then hit start navigation.

Never used google before but took about 30 seconds to get this.

You mean Google sucks as a search engine or as a company? I agree w the company part, they constantly make unnecessary downgrades to their software.

When I click the pin it goes to my current location. I think you have to actually be in the starting point to "start" the route, otherwise it will only give you a preview.

How do I bookmark?

How do I bookmark?

There's a button that says "save"....

Cool, thank you. I had no idea that was a tab that pulled up. Sorry I get extremely frustrated when I can't figure something out.

What do you like better, Google Maps or the stock Maps?

As I said, I don't use google maps. I only use Apple maps. It's great. I only downloaded google maps because I figured it couldn't be that hard.

You should take a few more minutes to look into things.

So you think Google Maps is hard to use?
