My early 2008 MacBook Pro logic board is now dead. My hard drive is still intact and I need to recover some files/photos from it. I heard that once you remove the hard drive, you can boot them with a SATA docking station. If so what's a good one?
And once it's hooked up, where would you go to boot it up?
Thanks!

All you need is a USB Hard disk caddy that takes a 2.5" SATA drive. Just fit the Hard disk into the caddy then connect it to another computer and pull the files you need off it.
