Hi guys! I switched to all Apple hardware this January and loving it!

My question is, there are some nice deals on the forums (plus some stuff I wanna sell). But how do you go about to dealing transactions without the high risk of getting scammed?

I wanted to do a trade once, but it was just too risky mailing out your item to a stranger.

Given that this community is pretty tight (for the most part) you can usually deal with people with confidence. I usually won't buy from people with status=newbie, but most of the people selling here have been members for a while.

Always use common sense when dealing with someone. If you are worried, try using an escrow service.

I have bought/sold on here several times now and have yet to get scammed *crosses fingers*

Bottom line, ask for seller references, pictures, etc...then make an informed decision.
