Do you use the mail.app to see notifications? Do you use an app from the App Store? Or do you just go to the webmail page in your browser?

When you open the Mail application, it will bring up a quick wizard to enter in the account name, address, and password to some popular email services like Outlook (Which is Hotmail), Gmail, iCloud, and others. If you do not see your provider, you must manually configure the server settings to allow Mail access.

Sorry for no clarification, I mean as a generalized question.. how do YOU personally prefer to check email?

I use Apple iCloud so my email comes through the default client on my Mac and iPhone. However, when out and about without my computer, iCloud has a beautiful email web interface.
