the thing with modern MacBook Pros is that any key boots them up. In the past I would,shut my machine down and clean the keyboard that way. Now it's not possible to do without using the computer booting up.

With this in mind any words of wisdom on how you personally clean your MBP would be appreciated.
 
I use a slightly damn paper towel and clean each key with it. I have a 15” MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and in my experience, after it’s been turned off, the only way to turn it back on is to use the TouchID button.
