In iOS 7 you long press on an image, select copy and then paste into the address bar to get the image URL. That doesn't work in iOS 8. Is this a bug of did Apple remove the ability to get image URLs from websites?

Seems like that actually copies the image itself now.

May be wrong but I think it used to do both depending on the target destination. If to a text only field like safari address bar it would paste the URL. But it would paste the image to a document, say

Yes. I hope it's just a bug as I used that feature. :(

Same issue here - very frustrating. However if you install Chrome for iOS you can long press an image, choose to open it in a new tab and copy the URL from there, which can then of course be pasted into Safari if required.

Shame we have to resort to a Google product to correct an iOS bug!
