How do you delete duplicate photos from iphoto

Ok, So I imported photos to iPhoto and the folder that had my pictures had a lot of duplicates in them. I would like to know is there a way to find those duplicate photos in iPhoto and delete them all. Or do I have to go through each of them and delete them manually. I lik ehow itunes under View has the option which says Show duplicate and them delete them together. Does anyone know how to do this. I also imported some videos which also have mutiple copies of it. How can I find where they are stored and How can I delete the duplicate ones. because of the duplication. It has taken a lot of my Hard drive space.
