How do you delete the iPhoto trash completly?

How do you? I mean I've gone to Pictures>iPhoto library>originals/modified
and deleted the ones i dont want and that are in the trash of iPhoto and doesn't work. I want to get rid of it because it takes up 2gb of Hd space.

Um... why don't you just "Empty Trash" in iPhoto? That deletes the files...

Now that you've deleted the actual files FIRST you might run into problems.

Right-click (or ctrl-click) on the Trashcan icon on the left and select Empty Trash (it's the only option).

I'm so, so, so, SO STUPID I never thought of ctrl-click on the trash can before!! Thanks guys!
