iPod touch How do you erase locked iPod Touch

So I just found my old ipod touch and unfortunetly I cannot recall the passcode. I am unable to connect it to wifi because its locked. I know the iCloud account obviously but that doesn’t help.

Do i plug it into itunes or something lol

Is there a way to put it in DFU mode and I can have iTunes start fresh?

Duh. Connect to iTunes, invoke DFU mode. Reset iPod touch in iTunes, progress.
