I downloaded the apps and all but how come it's not in that format we saw at the announcement like stacked on top of each other in the passbook app. Thanks

I believe the apps generate those "cards" that stack in the passbook app. when you buy a movie ticket with fandango, the ticket will appear in the passbook.

There is a website where you can make cards via the Safari on your phone but be careful what information you give them as I'm uncertain how safe it is.

http://www.passsource.com/

Also, grab the Target app. It gives you a free coupon code.

There are others as well.

Once you get more than 1 they start 'stacking'

GL! :)

You don't. It's very buggy and lots of apps not supported. The biggest one being Starbucks.

My wife and I get the "cannot connect to itunes store" I have an iphone 5 and she has a 4s. Apple is the new microsoft it seems.

Settings , time date , auto set off, set date 1 year in advance, open passbook , settings , auto date back on,

----------

Does anyone get the "Can't connect to iTunes store" when clicking the link in Passbook?

See above post

I think we just need to wait a little longer to pass official judgment on Passbook. Its just a "hub" and the apps that are to be used in it have to sort things out.

Lots of changes to come im sure!

Funny how they didn't give that impression during the keynote ;)

So my passbook just decided to start working today. No longer get the "can't connect to iTunes" error. It appears to be working but I haven't put any cards in there.

Set the year to 2036 that seemed to fix my cannot connect to iTunes store errors with PassBook. Just remember if you set your date forward you will need to turn on iMessage in Messages and FaceTime cause they both get turned off when you change the date far in advance. I guess it is a bug in iOS 6

That never worked for me or a lot of other people on here. It seems to have fixed itself anyway.

The Target coupons are the only pass in my passbook. Still waiting Dunkin Donuts to update their app as well as CVS.

Ok, I can now get into the App Store thru passbook and download apps, but they don't go into passbook. What gives?

You have to download an app, like Target or Walgreens, and then within the app you have to tap on "Add to Passbook". You do have to sign up though...like the Target app shows you coupons within the Target app, you have to click that you want to sign up for mobile coupons and after you are signed up, you can tap on the coupon in the Target app and tap on the Add to Passbook and it will add that coupon to Passbook.
