Hi Everyone
I am a beginner when it comes to iphone app development. I have just enrolled and now i'm fired up to start creating.
However, I have very basic knowledge of C programming and Objective-C I am getting to know C-touch and everything is going swiftly. Please allow me to explain my quandary.
I recently watched a tutorial online displaying various ways in adding scroll view to a project. I was able to make a label, linking this to another view window with scroll enabled. Great! But I would like to add buttons, (preferably a back button to return to the original screen) and seem to be hitting a brick wall whilst doing so.
This may be a very trivial question but I know you'll understand being that I'm new to iphone app development.
I'd really like to know how I can add buttons using the IB (Interface Builder) and inputting the code that follows suit. I usually save my files in IB under file drop down menu, write class files after creating a button and labelling it, also assigning it to the file owner box. Doesn't work I'm missing something here....
I need a smart cookie who can help me on this one. I have tried the development forum on the apple site however it seems to be down for me, I have also done various searches on youtube etc and to no avail. I am none the wiser.
I have read several recommended books from other developers and watched the Apple tutorials and reading materials from the development centre. It's all brilliant and I do appreciate it takes time, patience and dedication to create an app. I've been doing 5 days of pure reading code and understanding the basis of xcode etc. I am a technician with Global Communications experience (Java, HTML etc..) but haven't used it for a while. I'm waiting up the beast inside of me!!!
Again thanks for reading and hope you can help.
Thank you guys. I really appreciate it!
