How do you !@#$%-ing adjust the blog template in iWeb?

I have this crazy deadline. I already have a blog page (created by someone else) within my site which is perfect. However, when in iWeb, the "duplicate" function only copies text and not the whole blog section.

Next, when I start a new blog (using the + or "new page" function) some of the content portions can't be changed.

there HAS to be a way around this...Help
