How do you know if you can get a partial/early upgrade?!

That doesn't work for my business account. I bought the 3G on launch day July 11, 2008. I sure don't want to have to wait a whole month after announcement to get one.

I calked AT&T. Rep said I'm eligible for an early upgrade for the iPhone, full upgrade in January. I will just add a line
