Hi I am thinking of getting an airport extreme base station to get wireless 'n'. What i want to know is i have a airport express purchased a year ago. Will this run on wireless 'n' or does it only support a 'g' network when extending the network? I want to plug my PS3 into the airport express via ethernet to increase media streaming speed.

You can't use the airport express wireless to bridge a connection to the ethernet port unless you use WDS. I believe to check if its wireless n capable is go to your airport utility and check if you can select N radio.

If you set your express to "extend a wireless network", you can have computers/devices connected via ethernet to the network.

This setting is best IMO as it not only connects your hard wired device but gives your portables further roaming range.
