I've checked the site with both Safari and Omniweb. The Chat Now icon loads using both browsers...you might try making the browser window a little wider. Not sure thats the issue but noticed it missing when I was loading in Omniweb, so I made my window a tad wider and it popped up. Could be just coincidence though.

The Chat now icon is the last thing to load on the page for me. i.e. you have to let the page sit for 2-3 seconds before it appears.

I checked it using Firefox as well..I think you're right about it being the last thing to load on the page. If you're having problems, I'd hit reload a few times or try a different browser perhaps.

I don't think the chat thing is "always on". I've seen it sometimes, other I have not. I would be willing to bet real cash money that the only time this is available is when there are agents sitting idle. I'll try to find out. I have some co-workers who are working at Apple on projects involving their contact centers, but they mostly just working from the telephony side, so they might not know.

Still not and ive used it in my 3 browsers... (safari,AOL,firefox.....)

FWIW, I don't see anything either in any of my browsers. (Don't remember ever seeing it.)

There's clearly an external item loading from liveperson.net, which is a chat service. But it's only 28 bytes.

Well, in case anyone hasn't seen it already, this was only available in the EDU store. It'll be rolled out to the whole online store soon.

I had never noticed this option, but it displays for me. It loaded quicker on Firefox, but then eventually popped up on Safari. Probably took 20-30 seconds.

just in case you have to have javascript enabled ...

and its always on the bottom of the page ... when you are in the store

I wonder if this is an IBM exclusive option. When I am at the store on my school PC's, the option is always available. However, Safari and Firefox never display the option on my Mac.
