I need any info on how to load the color calibration profiles.. thanks

Put the profiles in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles.

Then you can just click on them in System Preferences -> Displays -> Color.

that aint working

Do you not see the calibration profile?

If so go back to the System Preferences -> Display -> Color.

Uncheck the box that says 'Show profiles for this display only."

And you should be able to select your color profile.

Is it possible to configure an external display using the Color preference pane?

Thinking of buying a 24" HP LP2475W but don't really want to buy a colorimeter, so if it was possible, I wanted to use the Color preference pane to load someone else's color profile for that monitor for myself.

Thanks.
