iPod touch How do you magnify the screen when web surfing on a touch

I just bought a used 4th Gen iPod Touch and I have no idea how to magnify the screen when surfing using safari. It's so tiny to make out what's showing up on the screen. :/

2 fingers touching the screen. Pinch out/ move 2 fingers touching the screen in opposite directions to zoom.

Also, double tap zooms to the frame you tap in.

Oh now I feel dumb, I guess I should have known that. Considering it's almost what you do on a MacBook Pro.

I wouldn't even know how to turn on the Macbook Pro.
