What I am thinking of doing is to eventually retire my CD Mini into some corner, hook lots of hard drives to it, and make it my dedicated "EyeTV recording.. thing".
Herein comes the next bit of my quest, since it is going to serve as a "EyeTV.. thing" that is always there and always on, might as well make it so it is like a sort of file server as well. Just so all my documents will be accessible on every computer I use on my own network.
Even better, might as well make it my home directory actually reside on said Mac Mini, regardless of which machine I used to log in!
Now here's the real bit, how'd I do this?
On Windows I tried doing it before, involves setting up duplicate accounts on the Windows machine hosting your stuff and all, not pretty. Is there a more elegant way of doing it on MacOS?
