i can't get to figure it out. Even when I tap the icon lightly, the wiggle mode is still not being triggered
 
I tried a display set and unfortunately, it doesn't work.

You were pressing too hard. You really shouldn't apply any pressure to the screen at all to do this, just make enough contact for it to register. If this is difficult you can change the 3D Touch sensitivity to firm (or firmer if it was set on light) to make it easier to trigger a long press for you.

You can keep holding, just don't press down harder, it will register it as a touch (just a bit of muscle memory that you have to get used to).
 
If you mix ambian with Bourbon and then run for like 5 miles and then look at your iPhone all of your buttons appear to be shaking but you can't move them around.
