How do you move Photos library to new account

I need to set up a new account on my mac and want to move the old Photos library over. Can I simple copy the folder form one user to another? or must I import-export them?

Or is there some other way of doing it to preserve the additional information like location that is displayed?

Just move the Photos Library package to the new user. To avoid permissions issues, if I'm moving a file from one user to another, I use the first user to move it to /Users/Shared/ and then collect it from there when logged in as the destination user.
