I know it's a silly question but everytime I open my C2D MBP, I tend to leave smudges on the isight cam. So I open it now by grasping the left edge of the screen. But now I'm afraid of causing a crack.

I'm just curious if you guys noticed this at all and if you've mastered opening yours by now. I'm still getting used to it so good luck to me I guess. ;)

I open it by pulling both corners upwards, because I am afraid that it will warp or become uneven.

Errr.... doesn't it like... jump up a couple of cm when you push the release button? And then you can just adjust the sceen by pulling anywhere on the top case?

Ideally, yep. I'm wondering if this is the "case" for the OP.

I press the button, then put left hand on the left side of screen, then right on right side of screen and pull/push up. Sometimes I do it with one hand but I also feel like I might crack or break something if the pressure is not evenly distributed or something. Thats how I do it! :)
